Forecast Snow Stability: Mild and damp conditions overnight will maintain a soft and moist snowpack. General snowpack stability will be good in most areas. Localised surface instabilities will exist in summit gully exits and around corrie rims but these areas are not expected to be deep or extensive and should in the main be avoidable. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Rain will affect all levels overnight becoming largely dry with mist or fog through the day. The freezing level will remain well above the summits. Winds will be generally Westerly moderate to fresh. Observed Weather Influences: Misty and milder conditions with very light drizzle at times have affected the area. The freezing level is above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is generally stable with localised surface instabilities in the tops of summit gullies and around wind sheltered corrie rims, any remaining cornices are fragile.
