Forecast Snow Stability: Localised deposits of shallow, moderately bonded but easily avoidable windslab will be present on most aspects. On North to East aspects these deposits will be present between 900 metres and around 1050 metres with coire rims and gully exits above scoured and stable. On other aspects windslab deposits will generally overlie bare ground. The old snowpack will be well bonded, firm and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Very light occasional snow showers throughout the forecast period. The freezing level will rise from around 400 metres to 600 metres during the day. Moderate North-North-Westerly winds. Observed Weather Influences: A cold mainly dry day. Northerly winds decreased during the day. The freezing level rose to around 700 metres. ObservedSnowStability: Variable wind directions have created localised deposits of shallow, moderately bonded, but easily avoidable windslab on most aspects. On North to East aspects these deposits are present between 900 metres and around 1050 metres with gully exits and coire rims above, scoured well bonded and stable. On other aspects any windslab deposits mainly overlie bare ground. The old snowpack is well bonded, firm and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
