Snowpack Structure
Forecast Weather Influences: Little change is expected in the weather. It will remain cloudy with some light drizzle possible from time to time. The freezing level will be around 1300 metres through the day. Winds will be from the South-West. Observed Weather Influences: It was slightly cooler than of late with a freezing level of around 1100 metres. It was cloudy but generally dry. Winds were from the South-West. ObservedSnowStability: Below 1100 meters the snowpack continues to slowly thaw. Above this level the snowpack is firmer due to the slightly cooler conditions. Stability is good at all altitudes. The avalanche hazard is Low.
