Avalanche Activity

The avalanche prone locations are rather rare.

Wind slabs are to be found in particular above approximately 2500 m. They are mostly very small and can only be released in isolated cases. In these regions less snow than usual is lying. In particular at low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.

Snowpack Structure

The wind slabs are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. On sunny slopes as well as at low and intermediate altitudes hardly any snow is lying.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
