Forecast Snow Stability: During Tuesday, the snowpack will start to thaw and consolidate below 1100m. Above this altitude, localised instabilities will continue to develop with greatest accumulations being on steep North-West, North and North-East facing slopes and gullies. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate

Forecast Weather Influences: Scattered snow showers will continue overnight before a period of warm and wet weather arrives on Tuesday morning. At this time the freezing level will rise to around 1100m. South-Westerly winds will back to the South-East and increase Observed Weather Influences: After a dry night, there have been heavy snow showers at all levels through out Monday. Strong Westerly winds moderated during the day ObservedSnowStability: Fresh areas of snow are present in many locations with greatest accumulations in sheltered North-East, East and South-East aspects above 900m. Many other aspects have a covering of fresh snow lying on bare ground. The avalanche hazard is Moderate
