Forecast Snow Stability: There will be little change to current conditions with the patchy snow cover remaining firm and well bonded. North to East facing corries and higher plateau areas are holding good amounts of snow. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: A cloudy but dry day is expected. The freezing level will lift to above the summits briefly overnight but drop back down to around 1000 metres. Winds will be moderate from the Westerly quadrants. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with the freezing level around the summits. Winds were very light from the South-West. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy snow cover is very firm and well bonded at all levels. Cover is still reasonable above 900 metres with North to East facing corries and higher plateau areas still holding good amounts. The avalanche hazard is Low.
