Greatest accumulations will lie on North through East to South aspects above 900 metres. Fragile cornices will be present above these aspects. Windslab with weaknesses will also lie on South-West aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

It is expected to be dry throughout, though a few snow showers are possible in the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: It was a dry cold day, freezing at all levels. Winds were light mainly South-South-Westerly. Greatest accumulations lie on North through East to South aspects above 900 metres. Fragile cornices are present above these aspects. Windslab with weaknesses also lies on South-West aspects. There is a widespread thin melt freeze crust below 800m overlain by windslab on East to South aspects above 700 metres. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
