Nysnøen fra onsdag og torsdag ventes å stabilisere seg nok så raskt, men i høyfjellet kan det være lett å løse ut skred i fokksnøen.

Dersom sola får skikkelig tak ventes det våte naturlig utløste skred utover dagen. Unngå bratte solhellinger og utløpsområder etter lunsj.

Klarvær og utstråling kan gi krevende skiføre når snøoverflaten fryser på i skyggesidene.

Tid på dagen og himmelretning er nøkkelen til en god skiopplevelse i påsken.

Onsdag er det kommet lokalt mye nedbør, torsdag morgen er det sludd til havnivå. Over 600-700 moh kan det være tørr fokksnø i leheng. Ellers er det primært grovkornet vårsnø eller fuktig nysnø som preger snøoverflaten.

Mest snø er det å finne i skålformasjoner mot øst.

Under skoggrensen på ca 300 moh er det stort sett snøfritt.

We could see a rapidly forming instability near the surface in the alpine. A clear night could pull moisture out of the snow, leaving a weak layer of near-surface facets. This would coincide with the areas with good skiing in the alpine. Please check the snow pack before committing to steeper slopes.
