Forecast Snow Stability: The old snowpack that is present on mostly North-West through North to Easterly aspects in mainly gullies and coire back walls and sometimes extensive fields above 800m will be well bonded and stable throughout. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Forecast Weather Influences: A dry day is expected .Freezing level around 1000m overnight then above the Summits during the day. Winds very strong Southerly throughout the forecast period. Observed Weather Influences: A blustery day with strong Southerly winds at summit levels . Cloudy above 950m. A dry day. Freezing level above the tops. ObservedSnowStability: The thin snow cover of Friay has pretty much disappeared with only a few localised deposits of moist and soft stable snow remaining in wind sheltered places on Northerly aspects above 800m. The old snowpack which is present mostly on North-West through North to Easterly aspects above 850m is firm and stable throughout. The avalanche hazard is Low
