Forecast Snow Stability: The old snow will be well bonded and stable with a crust developing above 1000 metres. Superficial new snow accumulations may form on South to West aspects above 850 metres but they will be of no consequence. Deepest accumulations will be found in wind sheltered locations on North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A dry night, followed by some very light snowfall above 850 metres during the morning. Moderate East, backing North-North-East winds during the snowfall period. Freezing level lowering briefly to 850 metres during the morning, rising to 1050 metres by mid-afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A mainly dry and bright day with intermittent, very light rain showers. Strong West-North-Westerly winds. Freezing level above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: Overnight rain has softened and diminished the snowpack. Though soft and wet, the remaining snow is generally well bonded and stable. Cover is now broken with deepest snow being found in wind sheltered locations, such as corrie back walls and gully lines, on North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
