Forecast Weather Influences: A dry, cloudy day with light to moderate North-Easterly winds. Cold overnight and warming during the day but freezing level poorly defined due to a temperature inversion. Observed Weather Influences: It was a cold, cloudy day with light and variable winds. After an overnight frost the freezing level rose to around 600 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The snow cover is limited and very patchy. Snow patches are very firm and icy with largest areas on North through East to South-East aspects above 900 metres, mostly in gullies and around coire rims. Mainly bare ground elsewhere. The avalanche hazard is Low.
