As a consequence of, snowfall a sometimes unfavourable avalanche situation will develop. Already in the early morning, dry and wet avalanches are possible. Many small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized natural avalanches are possible, especially on very steep slopes at the base of rock walls. In the regions where more snow falls the avalanche danger is greater. In particular from starting zones at higher altitudes medium-sized natural avalanches, capable of reaching a long way in some cases, must be expected in isolated cases. Weakly bonded old snow: Weak layers exist in the bottom section of the old snowpack on little-used, rather lightly snow-covered northwest, north and east facing slopes. In particular transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack are especially dangerous. Weak layers near the ground can be released in isolated cases even by individual winter sport participants. Remotely triggered avalanches are possible.

50 to 90 cm of snow has fallen since Sunday above approximately 2000 m. The easterly wind has transported some snow. A lot of snow is lying at intermediate and high altitudes. The weather was cloudy. Medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large moist and wet avalanches have been released as a consequence of warming. Over a wide area over a wide area 30 to 40 cm of snow will fall above approximately 2000 m.

Afternoon: On Saturday the wind will be strong. The avalanche danger will increase during the day.
