Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be good. As a consequence of falling temperatures the snowpack will consolidate.
Towards its surface, the snowpack is moist and its surface has a strong crust. As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day there will be an increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches. In particular adjacent to ridgelines as well as at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs formed.
