In particular in the Prealps some new snow to low altitudes. This snow is bonding only slowly with the old snowpack above approximately 2300 m. As a consequence of new snow and a sometimes moderate wind, small wind slabs formed. Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls the danger of dry avalanches is a little higher. As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of natural moist avalanches being released will increase gradually in all aspects above approximately 2400 m.

In particular on steep sunny slopes below approximately 3000 m no snow is lying. Faceted weak layers exist in the old snowpack in particular on shady slopes. The new snow is lying on a crust on steep shady slopes above approximately 2200 m.
