Yukon.
Use caution on wind-affected slopes. A storm hitting the region on Thursday morning will create a new wind slab avalanche problem. Check the first full avalanche forecast on the afternoon of Friday November 27 for an up-to-date weekend forecast.
Insufficient observations exist to reliably rate the avalanche danger. Expect shallow snow cover with thinly buried rocks and trees just beneath the surface. Avalanche danger often concentrates in gullies and other deposition areas, where wind slabs may bond poorly to a weak underlying base. Deeper snow usually exists at higher elevations. For information on local conditions, watch for Mountain Information Network reports in your region. - https://avalanche.ca/mountain-information-network
