Forecast Snow Stability: New accumulations of windslab will start to develop in the early hours Monday building rapidly during the morning on South-West through West to North-Westerly aspects above 900m. Gully tops, coire rims and steep convex terrain especially affected. Elsewhere the snowpack will be firm and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate

Forecast Weather Influences: Freezing level will hover around summit levels lowering to 1000m during Sunday evening. Then gradually lowering to 800m by midday and 600m or so through Monday afternoon. Winds fresh Easterly overnight will back very strong North-Easterly during the day. Heavy and persistent snow is expected during the morning becoming more showery in the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: Winds fresh to strong at first with drifting snow at summit levels. Winds easing during the afternoon becoming Easterly. Freezing level hovered around summit level. Very poor visibility above 900m. Snow showers above 1000m. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack has continued to consolidate and stabilise in all areas above 950m, softer but stable below this level. Some new snow and drifting has formed new thin windslab on West to North-Westerly aspects above 1000m. Accumulations are mostly shallow but where any depth is achieved in wind sheltered places they are rapidly stabilising in the milder temperatures. The avalanche hazard is Low
