The warmest day of the week and another poor freeze mean that you can trigger an avalanche in wet snow. If you are traveling on a firm crust you are relatively safe. If you start sinking into wet snow more than about four inches you could trigger a wet avalanche that could knock you over or carry you. Areas where you still find drifted snow from the weekends storm will be most hazardous. Avoid being on or under cornices which can break off well back from the visible edge.
Start your day and end your day early to maximize safe travel.
