Highlights

Isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth exist in some upper elevation starting zones. These shallow slabs lie upon light density snow and hard old snow surfaces. If triggered these slabs or loose snow sluffs could sweep skiers down steep slopes or over cliffs. With warmer temperatures and sunshine expected loose snow sluffs and sunballs are likely on steep sunlit aspects at all elevations as warming occurs.
