The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. A weak layer of buried surface hoar persist at a depth of one to three feet below the snow surface. Riders or skiers could trigger slabs on this layer in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. Loose snow sluffs and wet loose slides are possible on steep sunlit aspects as the day warms.
