Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE rising to CONSIDERABLE today. Strong winds have formed new soft slabs up to two feet in depth in wind loaded aspects. These slabs could be easily triggered today on steep, wind loaded terrain and near cliff areas. As sunlight and warming occur today the snowpack will weaken on all aspects and the chance of wet, loose slides on sunny slopes will increase.
