Highlights

A mostly stable snowpack exists in the Teton area. At the mid and upper elevations a buried weak layer of faceted snow persists. Some potential remains to trigger old hard slabs up to 3 feet in depth on steep shaded slopes on this buried layer. Releases would likely require larger triggers such as multiple passes by backcountry travellers. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely in the shallow snowpack.
