Slabs have settled and gained strength however they lie on a variety of weak snow surfaces particularly on steep northerly aspects. These firmer slabs may be released to depths greater than two feet and may require larger triggers like the second or later person on a slope. At low elevations the hazard will drop to LOW Monday. Isolated pockets remain in some steep, wind loaded areas that could be released by backcountry travellers.
