Avalanche Summary

Warmer temperatures and calm weather will help ease the threat of avalanches. High-elevation wind-drifted slopes are the lingering places where you can trigger a potentially dangerous avalanche. Steep slopes facing north to east to southeast have had a couple of days of solid loading and formed dense slabs that could release with your added pressure. Avoid these slopes and seek softer snow in wind-sheltered areas to help stay safe.
