Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are generally safe from avalanches. The most likely place to trigger a small avalanche is in isolated pockets of wind-drifted snow above treeline. You will find these areas below ridgelines and near cross-loaded gullies or couloirs. Drifted snow that is more likely to avalanche will sound hollow or feel stiff and crack underneath you.
New snow from Tuesday night into Wednesday may be enough to increase avalanche danger at upper elevations.
