Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. You might trigger a small slide in drifted snow at upper elevations - especially in The Park Range where up to six inches of snow will fall on Saturday. Take care where you find drifts below ridgelines and in gullies on steep northerly or easterly-facing slopes. Avoid steeper terrain if you find dense, hollow-sounding drifts or notice cracking in drifted snow. Look for safer travel in areas sheltered from the wind or on low-angle slopes.
