Avalanche Summary

The structure for deeper avalanches remains, but we haven't seen any Persistent Slab avalanches for many weeks. Shady steep slopes with shallow snow and many trigger points are places you may be able to trigger a deeper avalanche.

Concerns about wet snow avalanches will increase as the day warms. If you are sinking into wet snow or see roller balls or small point release avalanches, head to slopes with cooler snow.
