Avalanche Summary

You may see no signs of avalanche danger early in the day, but expect wet avalanche concerns to rise quickly if your local area gets a prolonged break in the clouds. As the storm snow wets, you can trigger a small avalanche that could grow large enough to knock you off your feet and take you for a dangerous ride. Consider the consequences of being caught in a small avalanche before you travel on slopes steeper than around 40 degrees.
