Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe to travel on. If you are traveling in steep, exposed terrain, even a small avalanche can knock you off your feet. In these areas, avoid small pockets of wind-drifted snow. If you are traveling late in the day and the snow get sheavy and gloppy avoid steep slopes.
