Avalanche Summary

Most slopes will be safe to travel on. The locations you could trigger an avalanche are where you find firm drum-like firm snow over old weak snow. These areas will also be where there is the most continuous coverage and temptation to ride. Even a small slide could be dangerous with thin coverage.
