Avalanche Summary
An unusually shallow snowpack means most slopes are currently safe from avalanches. As new snow drifts on north through east-facing slopes throughout the day, keep an eye out for deeper accumulations. If you do encounter stiff, wind-drifted snow on a steep slope, consider going around it. Especially if it is above a terrain trap, like a cliff or creek.
