Highlights

At the mid & upper elevations soft slabs 1 to 2 feet in depth in the starting zones still exist and could be triggered by backcountry travellers. A large cornice collapse was reported in "Once is Enough" couloir yesterday in the South Tetons a subsequent avalanche occured. Cornices should always be approached with caution.
