Highlights

Five feet or more of snow since Christmas and another seven inches during the day yesterday with strong winds maintain the potential for large slides that could be easily triggered or run naturally on avalanche terrain on various aspects. Natural avalanches occurred yesterday at all elevations from Teton Canyon to the peaks in Teton Park. Backcountry user initiated slides also occurred. Be alert to small sloughs that could bury a person in tree wells or terrain traps. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
