Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New soft slabs to two feet in depth exist on steep wind loaded slopes at all elevations. These slabs could be triggered by backcountry users today and have the potential to pull out deeper, harder slabs that lie on slick crusts and faceted snow. Recent avalanches have been reported in Fish Creek, on Mount Leidy, and in the South Fork of Spread Creek.
