Avalanche Summary

With above freezing temperatures and rain, you can trigger dangerous wet slab avalanches and some may run naturally. Get into and out of the mountains early before the snowpack loses cohesion. Avoid steep above treeline areas after 11:00AM. Stay out of runout zones below steep north and northeast-facing slopes. Some of these avalanches may be very large and may run into the below treeline elevation band.
