Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist due to decreasing snow cover and several extended melt-freeze cycles. The snowpack on many slopes is firm and consolidated into its spring form.
Whenever you plan to travel on snow-covered slopes in the spring, starting and ending your day early is a good idea to reduce your risk of wet avalanches. Avoid traveling on steep slopes if the snow surface isn't frozen or you are sinking into the snowpack.
