The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. In very steep wind loaded terrain riders and skiers have the potential to trigger slabs to depths of three feet. Caution is advised as warm temperatures will increase the sensitivity of these slabs today particularly in areas of direct sunlight. On Monday a rider triggered a one foot soft slab on a northeast aspect on Grouse mountain.

The possibility continues for riders and skiers to trigger slabs to depths of three feet in steep wind loaded avalanche terrain.
