Low hazard does not mean there is no hazard. Isolated pockets of wind slab up to one foot in depth could be triggered by people who venture into very steep avalanche prone terrain. Extra caution is required in cliff areas, above terrain traps and in extreme terrain.

A dry Pacific trough will move over the region Monday as the high pressure ridge that has dominated the weather begins to break down and move east. Skies will be partly cloudy in the morning then overcast with low temperatures at 9,500 feet in the mid teens that warm to the mid 20s during the day. Winds at 10,500 feet will be westerly at 15 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard will be LOW. On steep slopes people could trigger small pockets of wind slab up to one foot deep and in isolated areas loose snow sloughs of weak faceted snow could be released.
