The snowpack is mostly stable. The only areas where you might find trouble would be in very high consequence terrain like very steep rocky slopes.

Snow and Weather
Current Conditions
The strong wind on Monday really damaged riding conditions in most locations. Stout wind crusts, sastrugi, hard wind drifts and areas where the wind has stripped the snow to the ground is what you'll find in many areas now. If you really hunt around you can find dense soft snow in northerly facing protected areas. Light snowfall overnight has added a trace of new snow. Temperatures are at 0˚F at most weather stations this morning. Northwest wind has slowed in most locations and is fairly light.
Mountain Weather
Today will be cloudy and cold with some light snowfall possible. No significant accumulation is expected. An inch or two is possible. Wind will remain pretty light from the north with moderate speeds along the more exposed terrain. Temperatures may not get out of the single digits. Thursday we'll see partly cloudy skies with slightly warmer temperatures. Things clear up through the weekend with temperatures back into the 20s. The next chance for a minor storm is about a week away. Weather models are hinting at a larger storm at the end of the model run which is around the 16th.
