A forecaster from the N Wallowas intentionally triggered small 6-8" thick windslabs on test slopes yesterday. At higher elevations, these could be larger.
In all terrain, look for textured, rippled or unusually smooth surfaces. Feel for hollow or drum-like sounds, or snow that suddenly supports your skis, board or machine. Avoid these features in avalanche terrain. But take photos!

A couple old crowns were visible. Likely a mix of dry loose and storm slab avalanches.
