It is unlikely that a person will trigger an avalanche today unless they are getting into extreme terrain.
Continue to use backcountry protocols by only putting one person at a time on or below steep slopes.

Snow and Weather
Current Conditions: Surprisingly, you can still find pleasurable soft snow out there. The problem I'm noticing more and more is that the snowpack is becoming less supportable to skis and snowmobiles. During my outing on Friday, my partner and I found our tracks dropping and churning deep into the sugary facets in many locations. This tells me the snowpack is weakening. Temperatures have been hitting 40˚F during the day and staying in the upper 20s overnight. Wind speed has been light.
Mountain Weather: Today and tomorrow, expect more of the same weather we've been seeing. There is a very minor disturbance that will move through Sunday night into Monday bringing light snow with not much accumulation. The long term is quite depressing with very little precipitation in the forecast. It has been looking worse and worse each day.
