Avalanche potential exist in the alpine - a concern for climbers where a small avalanche could have severe consequences. Below treeline, we are below threshold amounts to be supportive for skiing. Daily forecasts will resume next week.

Loose snow avalanches are being observed on steep North East aspects. Be mindful of terrain and snow load overhead when choosing your route. Expect this activity to increase if the wind picks up as forecasted on Sunday and Monday.

Elevations: Alpine.

Likelihood: Possible

Wind Slabs

Up to 60 cm can be found in the alpine. Be cautious of wind affected terrain in the immediate lee of features or when approaching climbs or in between pitches.
