Weather Forecast

Generally cloudy skies are expected for the forecast period with trace amounts of new snow possible on Monday. Winds are forecast to be light to moderate from the south on Sunday and Monday, switching to strong and westerly on Tuesday. Freezing levels should hover at about 600m on Sunday, 2000m on Monday and then back to about 1000m on Tuesday.

Avalanche Summary

No avalanche activity has been reported.

Snowpack Summary

At this point we have received no snowpack data from the region. Reports suggest that in many areas the snowpack is thin at best.Significant snowpack variability is likely to exist throughout the region. I would suggest checking out the Northwest Coastal Avalanche Bulletin for an idea of what may be happening in some of the deeper snowpack areas.
