Gliding snow requires caution.

On rocky slopes loose snow avalanches are to be expected from the late morning, but they will be mostly small. In the event of solar radiation this applies in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation. In addition a latent danger of gliding avalanches exists, in particular on steep sunny slopes below approximately 2600 m, as well as on steep shady slopes below approximately 2400 m. These can reach medium size. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided as far as possible.

Over a wide area 5 to 20 cm of snow has fallen. The old snowpack is moist. This applies below approximately 2200 m.

Gliding snow represents the main danger.
