Avalanche danger is low. Loose-snow avalanches can in isolated cases in extremely steep terrain (>40°) release naturally or by 1 person, releases small. Where fresh snow fell on bare ground small glide-snow avalanches can release. Avoid zones below glide cracks.
Atop bare ground or a thoroughly wet snowpack, 10-30 cm of fresh snow lie deposited. The snowdrift accumulations from Saturday are bonding swiftly with the snowpack beneath. On rock plates and grassy slopes which were bare prior to the precipitation the snowpack is increasingly wet at ground level and can glide away.
On Monday, good visibility, intermittent sunshine, some residual fog hiding the peaks. Isolated snow showers in Pinzgau are possible, elsewhere it will be dry. Light to moderate N/E winds. At 2000 m: -8 to -3 degrees.
Avalanche danger levels are not expected to change significantly.
