Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will be generally well bonded. Older unstable cornice remnants will be found around corrie rims, mostly North-East to South-East above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A cold start again in the glens, milder around the tops but the freezing level will settle around 800 metres in the afternoon. Dry throughout. Winds fresh in strength, South-South-West becoming West-South-West. Observed Weather Influences: A cold start to the day in the glens but due to inversion it was around +6 on the tops. Dry throughout. Winds were fresh in strength from South. ObservedSnowStability: There is patchy snow cover on most aspects from lower levels. Mostly soft but well bonded. Above 900 metres areas of very firm and icy snow will be encountered. These are not extensive. Unstable cornice remnants can be found around corrie rims, mostly North-East to South-East aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
