In the course of the day wind slabs will form in particular at intermediate and high altitudes. These are mostly small but in some cases prone to triggering. They can be released in some cases, in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls on very steep slopes. In isolated cases the avalanches are medium-sized. Caution is to be exercised at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack.

In some localities 5 to 10 cm of snow will fall on Saturday. In all aspects snow depths vary greatly above approximately 2200 m, depending on the infuence of the wind. Below approximately 1800 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. On steep sunny slopes below approximately 2500 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack is not distinctly layered. Shady slopes: The snowpack consists of faceted crystals. These wintry weather conditions will give rise to favourable bonding of the old snowpack.

The avalanche danger will persist.
