Low avalanche danger, small Danger zones in high alpine regions due to snow deposit

Avalanche danger in general low. A few danger spots in shady slopes, behind ridges are fresh new snow deposits. Scale of slab avalanches would be small (sluff).

Snowpack Structure

South of the Alps few snow, which is very light. No sufficient snow cover except in high shady slopes. Snow base is composed of facetted snow.

Weather Forecast

During Wednesday overcast in low bases. Below 2.000m AMSL limited visibility with insufficient snowfall. Above 2.000 m AMSL chance of clea skies. Wind stays weak, temperatures in 2.000 m AMSL will be around -5°C.

Tendency

No significant changes of the avalanche danger which remains low.
