Forecast Snow Stability: There will be no change to the current situation with well bonded and stable, patchy snow present. Very little snow will be encountered below 900 metres. Above this altitude the largest areas will be found on North to East facing slopes, especially in steeper, wind sheltered locations. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: No precipitation has been forecast for the next twenty-four hour period. Strong South-Westerly winds overnight, decreasing to become moderate Westerlies during the afternoon. The freezing level will fluctuate between 1100 and 1400 metres during daylight hours. Observed Weather Influences: A dry but cloudy day with strong South-Westerly winds. The freezing level was around 950 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining patchy snow is well bonded and stable. There is very little snow below 900 metres. Largest areas are to be found above this altitude on North to East facing aspects, especially on the highest mountains situated North of the River Dee. The avalanche hazard is Low.
