Forecast Snow Stability: The rate of thaw will slow as the freezing level lowers, giving well bonded and stable snow throughout. Largest areas will be encountered on the high plateau areas and above 900 metres in steep North to East facing corries. Very little snow will be found below 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Light rain or drizzle overnight, ceasing by mid-morning. Strong South-Easterly winds gradually easing overnight, but then increasing as they veer to become strong South-Westerly during the afternoon. The freezing level will gradually lower to around 1200 metres by late morning. Observed Weather Influences: Mild, dry but overcast day with strong Southerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining patchy snow continues to slowly thaw but is well bonded and stable. Largest areas are to be found above 900 metres in North to East facing corries and on the high plateau areas above 1000 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
