Cooler temperatures are in the forecast. Small wind slabs are still present in lee features and cross loaded features.
No new avalanches reported or observed today.
The surface consists of crusts and old windslabs that have gone through sun, heat, wind and cooler weather. The buried surface hoar layers and the November crust remain inactive. All we need now is snow.
Tuesday will bring mostly cloudy skies with light flurries and hopefully a total of 2cm. Winds will be between 40-50km/hr from the West in the Alpine. A high temperature of -7c is expected. A colder weather pattern is forecast for the next week.
